SEI Training

EdCoaching LLC  is approved by the Arizona Department of Education to provide the 45 “Augmented” Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) training. This is one of the required sessions of the SEI requirement for all Arizona educators certified after August 31, 2006. With the deadline for completing the endorsement process a few months away, EdCoaching LLC may provide an affordable session for Arizona educators who need to complete this session by August 31, 2009.

The SEI by EdCoaching LLC is conducted by specialists in the field who have experience working as classroom teachers, administrators, coaching, professors and national consultants. EdCoaching LLC will present a framework, EdCoaching Language Bridge Model, to support schools and teachers to meet the AZ SEI Model requirements. Educators will participate in a hands-on, meaningful learning experience to understand, apply and evaluate the state standards while learning to teach English using a variety of strategies and assessments.

This session provides hands-on support to successfully incorporate the English Language Arts Standards, English Language Proficiency Standards and Discrete Skill Inventory. Please see EdCoaching Language Bridge Model for more information.

EdCoaching LLC Supports Teachers

EdCoaching LLC is a support system for teachers to effectively and proudly teach all students, especially English Language Learners.  We believe that in order for teachers to successfully teach English learners under the SEI Model requirements, they need support and feedback too. EdCoaching LLC has developed the EdCoaching Language Bridge Model as a tool for teachers teaching in the SEI classroom or mainstream teachers with recently reclassified ELs or current ELs on an Individualized Language Learner Plan (ILLP).
